MERCURY RISING + THE LINE HOTEL

angie silvy

Outside the LA sun presses down into the city’s tangled mass of sidewalks and highways - radiating a relentless warmth that seeps into every crack and crevice.

Inside, photographer Angie Silvy and stylist Nikki Grattan create looks that shimmer like a heat mirage and hint at the endless possibilities of a seemingly endless summer.

VIVID SYDNEY + NSW AUSTRALIA

angie silvy

Jumping at the chance to visit my home country with Krystal Bick to capture NSW as I had never seen it before. I arrive perfectly rested by Qantas to start the week, exploring, touring and seeing some of NSW best kept secrets. Vivid Sydney comes alive with breathtaking cinematic animations projected on the Opera house, and the city. Definitely worth booking your ticket to see in June 2018.

Other highlights included a beautiful trip to Taronga Zoo followed by lunch at Cirrus Dining in Barangaroo. The night continues where we catch a fantastic performance #hiddensydney then back to hipster hotel QT Sydney. Oh Bondi - how we love the Icebergs Dining Room and Bar for brunch before heading to coffs harbor and taking a heli ride with @precisionhelis over the town and country side of coffs harbor.

With a 2 hour drive from Coffs, we arrive at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa - and explore the sandy beaches, go surfing and visit local stores quintessential of the Byron Bay Spirit. Lets not forget to mention, how unique and perfect every restaurants was. Farm and Harvest definitely stole my heart! The perfect 7 days in NSW!  Sydney.com

High Summer

As we crawl out of winter, we crave for long lazy days in the SUN. Tropical locations fall heavy on our mind, and diving into deep refreshing WATER - we find out SUMMER escape!

A POSITANO ESCAPE

angie silvy

I was enchanted by Positano from the first vista point where I stopped, and took in the intoxicating view.  A place of another era of ancient arhictecture that meets a modern culture of bustling tourism. Hidden passages and narrow cobblestone roads that lead to more hideaways, THE bluest of blue swimming spots complimented by a chilled glass of rose at the end of the day!  My type of holiday.

This trip I was using the Sony alpha 711 mirror less camera, which allowed me travel lighter and tighter. Along with my iPhone 6 to upload and be wireless was a perfect travel solution.

POINT BREAK by VERITE PUBLISHED

angie silvy

Light hearted, light footed, lightly styled. This is what we foresee for ourselves in the near future. Days spent at the beach, toes deep in the sand, hair ruffled at the kiss of salt water. Our wardrobe with little thought, yet precisely on point. Without straying far from our roots as minimalists, monochromatic addicts, hardly cracking for color — our editorial Point Breakphotographed by Angie Silvy sums up perfectly where we see ourselves until the days no longer languidly stretch out before us. by VERITE PUBLISHED
