Photographer Angie Silvy is a true explorer of simplicity—globally inspired yet unmistakably Australian. Her fresh perspective blends modern minimalism with an easygoing Californian vibe, creating work that feels effortlessly elevated and naturally stylish
Australian-born Angie Silvy is an award-winning photographer with over 25 years of experience capturing everything from fashion and interiors to portraits and lifestyle content. Now based in Los Angeles, Angie’s relaxed but refined style has earned her an international client list that includes Cartier, Omega, Jimmy Choo, Moët Chandon, Brioni, Levis, W Hotels, and One&Only Resorts.
Angie got her start straight out of high school, working alongside Australian designer Stuart Membery, where she was introduced to the world of high fashion and editorial photography. She went on to style for Mode Magazine while studying photography at the University of Technology in Sydney, laying the foundation for her signature blend of style and substance.
Her move to the U.S. marked an exciting shift into action sports, where she made a name for herself shooting snowboarding and skiing at the highest level—working with Olympic athletes like Shaun White and Jonny Moseley, and collaborating with industry leaders like Burton Snowboards.
Eventually, Angie transitioned into wedding photography during the summer months, where her natural eye and elegant aesthetic earned her features in Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, and The Knot, which named her “Best Photographer.”
In 2014, she launched her own creative agency, Sterling Silvy, focusing on cutting-edge content creation and social media campaigns across a variety of industries.
Today, Angie specializes in luxury interiors, lifestyle branded content. Her work is known for its clean, stylish composition and elevated, editorial feel—always bringing a fresh perspective.
